Food safety, school hygience training

Since the beginning of the school year 2016 – 2017, besides improving the quality of teaching and learning, the Asian International School has always paid special attention to hygiene and food safety. On August 20th, 2016, we organised “Food safety and school hygiene” training. The training was instructed by Mr. Tran Trong Tien, our school’s doctor and attended by supervisors as well as all of the staff who are in charge of food caring for students.

Because of noticing the extremely important role of hygiene and food safety in catering for students and contributing to the improvement of students’ learning ability, the Asian International School anually organizes the hygiene and food safety training with variety topics and updated regulations from the Ministry of Public Health.

In the school year 2016-2017, the training focuses on the issues of food safety and hygiene in school. Particularly, giving the information from the food preparation process in the kitchen (slicing fruits, dividing food, cleaning the dinning room, transporting food ... ) to the school hygiene (cleaning the furniture, sweeping, cleaning the classrooms, washing the towels, toothbrushes, cup trays...)

Beside the professional training activities, the school also helps the staff to have awareness of the positions, responsibilities and obligations to their own work. Moreover, we always do our best to care the students in the best way so that they can learn effectively and develop comprehensively while studying at school.
