The jubilant fancy dress festival “All for the peace world” at IPS

The fancy dress festival is annually held at IPS. It offers students a chance to have fun, to prove their creativity and to enhance the relationship with friends. Every year, the school chooses a common theme for the festival such as love of the country, a wish for a prosperous life and happiness for people around the world.

The preparation for the festival has been carried out carefully at all campuses including Thaivanlung, Trannhatduat, Vanthanh, Thanglong, Caothang and Conghoa. The teachers helped the students prepare dresses and costumes for their special performances. The school yard was decorated meticulously; light and sound system on the stage was really modern. More than 100 performances were performed at the festival. Thousands of audiences enjoyed the colorful and interesting performances.

At the festival, there are many exciting dance styles such as Hawaiian dance, spring dance, Taynguyen dance and Samba dance. Especially, this year’s celebration also has many environmental performances with a meaningful message “Let’s protect our environment together” such as paper and environment fashion shows.

The exciting dances such as Russian folk dance, Chinese dance, Hawaii dance, Japanese dance, Indian dance and Latino dance performed by IPS students made the audiences excited as if they were taking tours to many countries around the world. Addition to foreign dances, the students performed the Vietnamese traditional dances such as Taynguyen dance and Trong Com dance.

Every performance has particular characteristics of different nations around the world. Through the fashion shows about the costumes of many countries, the IPS students can learn about culture and people of many different countries in the world.

The judges highly evaluated the students’ performances

The festival “All for the peace world” ended with the joy of all IPS students. More than 100 performances were appreciated by the judges and encouraged enthusiastically by the audiences. After the festival, the IPS tudents understand much more about their friendship, their school and the life around them.
